Do pills help for acne?
I have been using Tetracycline pills for my acne for about a week.. Whether anybody has used this before, can you tell me whether it worked for you and should keep using it!

Yes they do work. Notwithstanding you still need to take care of your skin (washing and so forth) also don't expect a overnight solution, it can take weeks if not months before you see a change. I used it when I was 16/17 and did see a difference But not as much as I would have liked. But basically at that age you have so many problems with hormones and such it took awhile for my body to regular to the pills. At 21 I started taking them again and that time I saw a Huge difference fairly quickly the only problem was I became very sensitive to the sun, if I stayed out too long it would burn horribly. My skin cleared up and the redness disappeared. It was great. Now I just use Proactive to keep it clear.

It generally takes about a week or to for the pills to really start working. You need to take a lot for it to work. 5 pills aren't going to receive rid of acne. When my physician prescribed me, he said you must let two weeks go by first to allow it to kick in, and whether it doesn't begin working after the third week, you may be in need of something else. The tetracycline really works, trust me. It won't get rid of acne all together once and for all, nothing can. It's just the way the human body works, and nothing will be able to stop it, really.
