Am I dieting correctly? Weight loss advice needed.?

I'm 18, and 250 pounds. (i know, it's bad) so I went to the physician to get something done about it. I went to the physician, and got some diet pills (xenical to be precise) and he told me that in order to lose weight I had to stop eating completely. Admittedly, I was shocked. When I asked him if that was unhealthy he said not for you. don't think I could stop eating completely because I'd be really irritable so I'm doing it like this.
30 minutes of cardio workout a day and 25-50 calories (1 or 2 salads)

Can any people who either missing weight or people who are experts in this field give me advice as to whether it's okay? I don't know whether I'm doing too much, too little etc. I've been doing this for approximately a week, haven't checked my progress yet. I've been feeling really sleepy a lot, but I don't know whether that's just my anaemia.

Okay you should still be eating...what kind of doctor did you go to? I constructed this workout/diet plan myself and a few people have done it and got results so maybe you can give it a try? Whether this doesn't seem to work for you maybe you should try p90x or madness to help Whether you are looking to lose weight but haven't found anything that works try this workout/diet plan whether you try your hardest when working out and sticking to this diet you Will lose weight This is the easier workout.

out white breads, pasta, exc. and replace everything with whole wheats

skim milk instead of whole or 2 need to alcohol at least a gallon of water a day that will help you lose water weight...so drink 8 bottles of water a day. water helps fill you up so drink a bottle before breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Here's some healthy breakfast meals you could be having

calorie oatmeal

slices of whole wheat toast and a piece of fruit

salad

cheese, with a few slices of canned peaches

fat yogurt fruit parfait

The Kashi brand cereal with skim milk

orange, with a low fat yogurt

whole wheat waffle and a banana
sandwich with natural peanut butter (and jelly whether you want) on Whole wheat bread with carrots and
a bottle of water

sandwich with natural peanut butter (and jelly whether you want) on Whole wheat bread with an apple

sandwich on whole wheat bread ( with apple if still hungry) and a bottle of water

sub use whole wheat bread, don't put tons of mayo on it either with a bottle of water and sun chips or Quaker oats rice cakes.

steady salad and a bottle of water

A grapefruit, low fat yogurt, and a bottle of water

Turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with celery and a bottle of water
similar matters as you did for lunch....if you can think of any other matters that are healthy that i don't have listed check with me or what ever.
certain you keep up on your water aim for one gallon/day
and work out hard.

Well first of all you Do Not have to stop eating completely, that's absurd. My friend's brother went on a unique diet around May, he's in college and has solved all of his weight issues. He ate a meal every two hours. The meals are not large. For example, he'd start the day with a banana, then two hours later eat an apple, then for lunch a sandwich. He never ate a meal that was too large though. In addition to dieting this way, he also began exercising all the time. Whether you have trouble running, start with walking, but go on long walks and eventually long runs. Also, you should try weight lifting. You can stop food cravings this way by replacing them with a good habit. Whether you really are desperate to lose weight and have money to spend there are also several E-books with great information on dieting, such as this one: http://bit.ly/bzE1Ba It is not necessary to spend money though. Any physician that recommends to stop' eating, is not a doctor. to lose weight you must burn more calories than you are eating. At 250 lbs. I'd recommend eating healthy foods (fruits and vegatables) with some small amounts of fats in there. (milk, nuts) and some protien (chicken, turkey) totally no more than 1500-2000 calories a day.

also, up your exercise, walk more, go to the gym, ride your bike, etc...

losing 2 lbs a week is a safe way to ensure that you are losing weight properly. Whether you stopped eating entirely, your body would consume muscle first before going for the fat. so do not do this or be prepared for the consequences....

ok first you need to put down the pills. I know the appear like the reply to all your problems but it is only putting chemicals into your body and making it harder for you to become the clean healthy person you want to be. Next you need to drink water until your pee is very light yellow. Then you know you are hydrated. Now take everything out of your house ( food and alcohol wise) that is man made. i.e. chips, soda, crackers, bread, cereal,mac bologna, hot dogs... you receive the point. Eat only what mother nature makes. Food - veggies, fruit, meat! yes you can eat potaoes. You want fried potato's then cook them in extra vergin olive oil. Drinks - unsweet tea, milk, Water!! Do pushups in the morning ( on your knees whether you want ) and then go for a 30 min fast walk. When you think you want to begin running then go for it!. I eat fruit for breakfast with coffee, yogurt for a snack, salad for lunch, unsweet tea with dinner. Take out the pasta at dinner time. Just a meat and veggie. Try to keep busy during the day. Dont sit down. clean, walk the dog, what ever you need to do to stay active. Try to take a vitamin and do not eat fast food or sweets. Not a little. None!! Every 2 weeks you can treat yourself one day to what every you want. remember what you eat you will have to burn to loose the weight from that bad food. I have lost 60 lbs so far and this is what I have been doing. there is no such object as a diet. If you want to get skinny and stay that way you have to eat correct and work out. Going back to your old ways will only put the old weight correct back on you.

You have to eat in order to live. I know that there are some foods that have a lot of calories like fast foods and ice cream but, there are weight loss pills that are natural and can help you to loose the weight.
