Last November, I was in my ballet lesson that I had been taking for approximately 2 or 3 years. I over stretched my left hip somehow and it has never healed up. I ended up having to drop dance lesson because my hurting level was so severe. Now, after 4 months of trying the chiropractor, exercise, and different pain medicines, nothing has worked. I have tried Aleve, Ibuprofen, Doan's back pain, Excedrin back and body ache, etc and none of those medicines have worked for me. My lover takes Celebrex for the swelling and pain in his feet (he had surgery) and says that I should try one to see if it works. But, I would like to know whether anyone knows of anything over the counter (besides all the kinds I already mentioned) that is as strong as Celebrex that might work. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

If you took one Celebrex it would not work. Celebrex has to build up in your system for at least a week for it to work. I think that you should take a different approach. Have you thought approximately seeing a highly recommended Massage therapist that is educated in neuro-muscular training. It could be a balance in your muscular system that needs to be adjusted.

Read the side affects on celebrex i wouldn't want to take it either.. Try taking Glucosamine chondroitin, msm tablets. msm is imagine to relieve pain and inflamation. All 3 are for the joints. Health food store has liquid health with this in it and it works fast. But taken daily it will help. Our dr. recommended it. You can buy the tablets from puritans pride vitamins or probably even wal mart pharmacy. Piroxicam is a pretty good generic prescription. I take it just when i need it and it helps. Not expensive either. A couple of tylenol should help with your pain. These would be easier on your stomache than celebrex..
