Question Approximately Prozac.. Need a Reliable source!! help?
my physician recently prescribed 10 mil of prozac for depression and i was looking at some of the side affects and Anorgasmia is one of them. Anorgasmia is drug induced sexual dysfunction.. it mainly said that 75 of people taking Prozac had problem climaxing, and became sexually frustrated. I'M So Worried!! Does This Mean That I'M Going To Suffer From Anorgasmia?! And Does This Mean That It'S Permanent? Please Help Me? I'd like details.. I already looked on google and webmd, so that won't help. Whether you're a physician Please give me some imput. I would go to the dr myself and ask but i'm just too embarrassed and rather young to be asking/worrying about it. thanks!
Go to a different doctor? Is your doctor an Md, a or a Psychiatrist. Don't take intellectual advice from an Md.
Why is your physician prescribing Prozac.
Prozac has a lot of side effects. Including suicide and mass murder (pretty much every spree killing in the final 20 years was by someone who was on a Serotonin Re-uptake inhibitor)
No, it's not permanent, but considering the high odds of a chemical dependency to most Sris, it will be very hard to receive off Prozac, so it will be permanent in that way, and whether its for something temporary, like sadness from a tragic event, you need time to receive over it without the drugs.
I'll tell you my personal experience of this drug. I have never had suicidal or self harm tendencies in my life but I was given Prozac for depression. The next morning after taking it when I woke up I had the most insane thoughts you can suppose running through my head. I kept telling myself I had to pull my eyes out and eat my fingers off. I was dangerously shut to losing self control to what I can only describe as a intellectual surge' that was pushing me to do it. Make no mistake this was a genuine psychotic state and it was terrifying.
After what felt like approximately 3-4 minutes it faded and I was sane again, but you've no idea how close I came to actually doing the insane shit that drug made me think. I've never touched it since.
SSRI anti-depressants are seriously dangerous drugs. Don't listen to a word the manufacturers tell you, it took court action just to make them admit there's a slight' risk of suicidal ideation. They'll tell you this is in a minority of users (they have drug sales to worry about). Every person I know whose taken prozac has said thoughts of self harm appeared in their head and I intend Every One.
Avoid it. Sexual dysfunction will be the least of your worries, but yes it does cause erection difficulty.

the prozac is not needed and very dangerous mentally and somewhat physically and I highly doubt you even need prozac all it does is either take away your emotions and make you a zombie or it f with your intellect depression is a natural things and the only thing that cure depression is a happy event
