Do I still have chlamydia? What is going on?
So approximately three months ago I had all the symptoms of chlamydia, the burning during urination, discharge, etc. My girlfriend had burning too, so we both went and got checked, got diagnosed with chlamydia, and got treated. We refrained from sex until two weeks after we were treated. So we had sex and two weeks later she got retested and she was cured, tests were negative. I was supposed to get retested but my insurance didn't cover it so I figured, she tested negative, and we had sex, so I was cured. All my symptoms disappeared within 5 days after being treated and its been two months and I've still had no symptoms. Here it is three months later and the past few days my girlfriend has complained of pain during urination and lower ab cramps/pain. What is going on here? Could I have not been cured, I took the one dose zithromax, and she tested negative after we had sex for two weeks... I don't receive it. How could she have gotten it again? She couldv'e cheated but I highly doubt it. Could I have contracted it again with something like pants I didn't wash or something? Could she be pregnant?

She could have something as simple as a urinary tract infection that might be causing these symptoms. She needs to receive this checked and she needs to also ask to be checked to see if her chlamydia is completely gone - then both of you will know.
