Why does insurance cover Viagra but not birth control pills?

Viagra brings heat attack to many who consume where as birth control pills prevent child birth.to make the person safe for Viagra users insurance cover is given to promote the products.

I think it's because Viagra has a higher success rate than birth control pills. Viagra also has less severe consequences. The worst thing Viagra can do is give the man an erect johnny for a longer period of time. But a mistake with birth control pills, you're pregnant. I could be wrong though
Edit: To the person above, you're wrong, Viagra does not cause heart attacks, whether anything it prevents it, because it dilates blood vessels to gain blood flow.
