Can someone please tell me the difference between xanax and klonopin? I am getting off xanax gave me klonopn? Does klonopin help you get off xanax; I was only taking 1 mg of xanax and off it; now on the klonopin; how does the klonopin help me; any help would be appreciated; thanks

Csi Fan, Klonopin is the same as clonazepam and there is not much difference than zanax, it's used for axienty and panic attacks a calming drug. Hope this helps Rita V

The only difference that I can tell you (having used both) is that Klonopin is longer lasting with the same dose, so in the long run, you should be taking less. The are both anti anxiety medications.
